Banta is designed for friendly, social communication between mates and acquaintances.

Intended use:

• Casual conversations with mates
• Social calling and catch-ups
• Friendly interactions and fun responses
• Building and maintaining mate connections

Not intended for:

• Business or commercial use
• Professional communications
• Emergency services (see below)
• Harassment or inappropriate behavior

To maintain a positive community, all users must:

• Using the app for illegal activities
• Sharing inappropriate content
• Abusing urgent callback feature

Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Important safety information:

• Banta is NOT a replacement for emergency services
• Do not use Banta for medical emergencies, fires, crimes, or other urgent situations
• Call local emergency services (911, 999, 112, etc.) for real emergencies
• The urgent callback feature is for important social matters, not life-threatening situations
• We are not responsible for emergency response times or availability

Always use proper emergency channels for real emergencies.

Banta uses curated response packs for rejection messages:

• All rejection responses are pre-approved and family-friendly
• Users cannot create custom rejection messages
• Response packs are designed to be fun and appropriate
• This prevents abuse and inappropriate content
• Response packs can be unlocked or selected from available options

This system maintains a safe and enjoyable experience for all users.

If applicable to your region:

• Some features may require premium subscription
• Subscription terms are clearly displayed before purchase
• Auto-renewal can be managed through your app store
• Refunds are handled according to app store policies
• Premium features are clearly marked in the app

Free core functionality always includes basic calling and mate connections.

Service availability and reliability:

• Banta requires internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
• Service may be unavailable during maintenance or outages
• We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
• Call quality depends on network conditions
• We are not responsible for carrier network issues

No compensation is provided for temporary service interruptions.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these terms of service
• Inappropriate behavior or harassment
• Abuse of platform features
• Illegal activities using the service
• Repeated complaints from other users
• Security concerns or suspicious activity

Termination may be temporary or permanent based on the severity of violations.

Getting help and reporting issues:

• Use the Contact Support feature in the app for assistance
• Report violations or inappropriate behavior through support
• We respond to support requests promptly
• Include relevant details when reporting issues
